This is my first blog entry on here. I’m not sure if this counts as a blog, since it is contained in a website, but Tumblr blogs are called blogs so I guess it counts as one. It’s been a while since I opened this website, but I hadn’t given it much thought when it comes to its contents and design. It’s just been sitting on the side. Perhaps that’s why it hasn’t received that much attention compared to other websites. I’ve had thoughts of doing something like this for while. In fact, I think I had a small diary or journal section in the navigation of my old website. I think the reason I hadn’t developed the website much back then is because I was very busy with my studies and did not have the motivation to do something like this.

However, I have since graduated from university, which means I no longer spend most of my time studying or worrying over grades. My university years were tough, but back then I had friends I could talk and share my worries with. I also had an actual journal, but I lost it when moving. A blog is really similar to a journal in a way. Both are outlets to let out feelings and talk about events in someone’s life. I guess one difference would be that people are more careful what to share in a blog than a journal. Both of these things have one problem in common: people picking up and reading them. As a result, you can’t just share everything in these things. Some thoughts just stay inside.

Even then, I might share some things on here that I want. Writing all this reminded me so much of when I had a journal and would pretty much write everyday on it. It also made me think more about my university years.
